Reader says , “I think that Mrs. Hauck is the most egregious example of Ridgewood’s poor representation. While negotiating the Village’s settlement of the Hospital’s lawsuit against us, she gave Valley virtually everything they’ve ever asked for – even after Valley acknowledged that their expansion will be detrimental to Ridgewood (but good for the region – yay!). I understand that Mrs. Hauck has deep affection for and a long affiliation with Valley, but as a Council person she should be looking out for the people she was elected to represent. It’s a shame that the Village will be changed forever over the handful of votes that she won by.”
