Indoor and Outdoor Gathering Capacity Limits Increased Helping Down Town Businesses

Ridgewood NJ, Governor Phil Murphy today announced increased indoor and outdoor gathering capacity limits as COVID-19 cases in New Jersey continue to decline. Effective immediately, indoor gatherings are now limited to 25% capacity of the rooms in which they will take place, with a maximum of 100 persons. Outdoor gatherings are now limited to 250 persons, and outdoor religious services and political activities will continue to have no numerical limits.

Ridgewood central business district is once again alive with music, dining, and social distancing. They new concept of a Pedestrian Mall fell into place nicely for the first evening, welcoming in summer. Stay tuned each Saturday and Sunday throughout the summer months for more music and outdoor dining. Increases in dining and gathering capacities should help Village businesses start to recover form the COVID lock down .

The Pearl in Ridgewood Celebrates 6 years

On their Facebook page they posted, “Wow! Six years already! Thank you so much to all of our loyal, wonderful customers. We couldn’t have made it this far without each and every one of you. Cheers to the next six years !!”

Maximilian Viola told the Bergen Record in 2012 that,” he might as well have been born in a restaurant.” Originally a 28-seat spot on Broad Street.The Pearl has grown to 70 seats.

We have no microwave and no freezer. Our menu will change daily based on the freshness and availability of special meats and fishes selected from the market. We’ll use only homemade pastas and most of our desserts are prepared table-side. So come and indulge!

Reservations are a must. Please feel free to bring your own wine. We are open for dinner only, Monday through Saturday, from 4pm to 11pm. Sundays are reserved for Special Parties of up to 35 people.
