The Pedestrian Plaza will return to Ridgewood on Saturdays and Sundays from June 3 – October 9, 2023

Ridgewood NJ, the Pedestrian Plaza, where streets are closed to vehicular traffic from Walnut Street to Broad Street, along East Ridgewood Avenue, will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from June 3 – October 9, 2023. There will be music and entertainment in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square on Saturday night and Sunday. Each month will be culturally themed, and there will be special activities for children. Please plan to come and shop, dine, and enjoy the entertainment this summer.

Ridgewood , “Oil Rig ” now on Walnut Street

Ridgewood NJ, for the second week in a row , what has been described as a “Oil Rig” has been spotted in the Central Business District ( CBD ) , this time on Walnut Street ,near the intersect of Franklin avenue . The mysterious structure showed up over a week ago and has been focus on much speculation .

Collision at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Walnut Street in Washington Township

Washington Twp NJ, One (1) person was transported to a local hospital following a two (2) vehicle collision at the intersection of Ridgewood Road and Walnut Street in Washington Township on Monday afternoon, 03/20. Both vehicles were removed from the scene by a flatbed tow truck. Washington Township PD, Westwood EMS, and a paramedic unit from Hackensack University Medical Center North responded to the incident. Injuries to the victim, an adult female, appeared to have been non life threatening.
