Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police and Fire department personnel responded to a multiple family home located on Cedar Avenue, Ridgewood on Sunday afternoon, 06/18, to assist in searching for two (2) children, both under the age of 10, who went missing from the home’s front yard for over 45 minutes. The brother and sister were eventually spotted walking several blocks away on East Ridgewood Avenue, apparently after having visited a local frozen yogurt establishment. They were picked up and returned home by a relative who had joined the search party. Fortunately, despite having crossed at least two (2) heavily trafficked streets, both children were found to have been uninjured.
