Intoxicated Man Found at Sikh Temple transported by ambulance to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox

Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police report that on January 5th at 4:45 Glen Rock patrol officers were dispatched to a 9-1-1 report of a disoriented male in the parking lot of the Sikh Temple on Prospect Street. Upon arrival they located a 59-year-old Paterson man in a highly intoxicated and disoriented state with minor injuries and blood covering his shirt. The man did not know how he got to the Temple and stated he was just trying to get home.

The subject was unable to care for himself and was transported by ambulance to New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus for detox.

Trenton NJ, Senate President Steve Sweeney joined the East Coast Sikh Coordination Committee and members of the greater Sikh community today in celebrating Guru Nanak’s 550th birthday. Nanak was the founder of Sikhism, which has nearly 30 million followers throughout the world and roughly one million devotees in the United States.
