NJEDA Expands Film & Digital Media Workforce with New Grant Program & Education Partnerships

Ridgewood NJ, The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is taking major steps to expand career opportunities in film and digital media through workforce development initiatives. The agency has launched the New Jersey Film Works Grant Program and signed partnerships with Montclair State University and Brookdale Community College to strengthen the state’s talent pipeline in this growing industry.

Building Careers in Film & Digital Media

With the film and entertainment industry booming in New Jersey, the NJEDA aims to provide high-quality career pathways and ensure diverse representation in this economic sector.

New Jersey Film Works Grant Program – A $3 million initiative awarding grants of up to $750,000 to organizations offering workforce training, internships, apprenticeships, and education in film and digital media.
