Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood blog has received complaint from a commuter that NJ Transit is doing very little to maintain the area surrounding the Ridge Road train station access point.  The dumpster is theirs, weeds are sky high, and there is garbage strewn everywhere.

  1. NJ Transit. What did you expect?

  2. Planned Hudson Street Garage will be a slum too. The bloom comes off the rose quickly on many new Muni projects as community users & vendor contractors litter dump freely in those project areas ,resulting in urban decay. Not needed , shut it down now.

  3. VOTE NO to the parking garage bond on Tuesday, June 21, and make sure everybody you know hauls their voting fingers to the booth! A “no” vote means the new council will more or less start from scratch. A “yes” vote could mean a hole in the ground and monstrosity started before the gruesome threesome leave office.

  4. don’t call the parks department ,

  5. Can anyone think of anything, other than defense, that the government does well?

  6. It actually sucks at defense in terms of dollars spent, but it’s a case of there being no other viable option. Anything the Government does is basically socialism, and what you get is the same result so see with socialism everywhere in the world it has been (is being) tried.

  7. Actually arriving or leaving the Ridgewood train station from train cars you see so much litter and trackside private properties with dumped masonary ,waste wood , paper, broken fencing plastic chairs etc..even from the Whole Food parking lot you can see that the NJT local railbed slopes are both fire and train hazards.

  8. Nj transit likes to dump all their removed materials and leaves them there for a long time. All you have to do is look out the window as you go down the train routes
