  1. Wow, no injuries and contained with a completely volunteer department in a town 4 times the size of Ridgewood. How’s that working out for ya Ridgewood taxpayers?

  2. It’s working quite well Anonymous September 7, 2017 at 5:50 pm, Thank you.

The Paramus Fire Dept. did a fine job of saving the foundation of that home! Shame that the homeowners lost so much that can never be replaced, but hey they have insurance right?

The Ridgewood Fire Department (and any paid Fire Department for that matter) would have easily arrived at the home much sooner than any Volunteer Department and the career Firefighters would have extinguished the fire with minimal damage to the home and it’s contents. So yes, that works fine for me, thank you very much.

It’s important to me to have a combination Career/Volunteer Fire Department because I care about my home and my neighbors homes.

    Signed A Ridgewood Taxpayer.
