Glen Rock NJ, in a letter Glen Rock Superintendent Brett Charleston laid out the “Restart Committee” recommendations for student holiday travel :
“Last Thursday the Restart Committee met to discuss travel guidance and data for unvaccinated students that traveled over Teacher Convention weekend. Our data indicated that approximately 190 unvaccinated students traveled and that one student tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, with students ages 5-11 now eligible for the vaccine we are adjusting our travel guidance as follows: Unvaccinated students that travel outside of the tri-state area will be required to submit one PCR test any time between days 3-5 upon their return from travel. Students will be permitted to remain in school, upon return from travel, while they await results of their test. There will be no requirement to quarantine unless a student tests positive or is identified as being in close contact with someone who tested positive. Synchronous instruction will be permitted, as it exists now, for students that test positive or are identified as being in close contact with someone who tested positive.”

OK.
Good.
A little sanity exists in Glen Rock.
Maybe it will “infect” Ridgewood.
How do/will they know if students traveled? Let people live you morons. If someone is not sick regardless whether they stay in their basement or travel somewhere you have no right to impose stupid protocols on them, you brainless robots.
