Franklin Lakes NJ, Franklin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department along with several other Bergen County Fire Departments had a very busy Easter Sunday.
Franklin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department Companies responded to a brush fire on Dogwood Trail and stretched a line to the rear yard for extinguishment.
Shortly after, the Franklin Lakes Volunteer Fire Department along with Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department and the Oakland Volunteer Fire Department responded for a hazardous condition at one of our senior living facilities. According to the Wyckoff Volunteer Fire Department , Truck 241 responded to Franklin Lakes today for a large water leak and electrical condition inside an apartment complex. Crews assisted with overhaul and water removal.
As companies were clearing, they were dispatched to Route 287 for an overturned box truck. Crews secured the vehicle and mitigated the fluids spilled from the truck.
On Saturday Upper Saddle River Fire Department responded to a home in the borough for a working brush fire. Crews along the side of the Saddle River Fire Department worked to extinguish the fire caused by a careless open burn. They were also assisted by Mahwah Fire Department and Ramsey NJ Fire Department for the coverage.
