Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood blog has picked up chatter that the 2014 plan for a 90-foot baseball field was still on at Schedler.

According to Mayor Ramon Hach the plan for 90-foot baseball diamond was discarded in 2016. The Village Council decided to move forward with a new design that was proposed by the Schedler Ad hoc Committee in 2017. The new design includes a protective berm, a playground, a walking path, 44 parking spaces, restrooms and a 75×50 yard multi-purpose which will take up about 1/4 the space of a full-size baseball field. 1. What, no garage? Why not?
The picture makes it look like only a few tress will be cut when in fact more than half the trees have been executed. Keep sugar coating it.

  2. Kickball and an eagle sanctuary. Knudsen and friends must be happy!

  3. I know they are restoring the house are there going to be bathrooms at that site.

  4. Hey the place is looking better each and every day than before. Before I look like was going to fall down at least the site is gonna be all cleaned up.

  5. Of course no 60×90 field, the lot is too small.

But they will play soccer there … so Fast Eddie wins again.

  6. Baseball, soccer, lacrosse, major field trips, chartered buses , a garden (supposedly a few public spots for residents but that’s a lie) night time activities are the house and a full time super annoying business is at Habernickel and all we get is a crappy, Pun intended, porta John

Activities 24/7 and just a potty. No access to the house either even though it belongs to the town There are horrible paper signs taped to the window by business owner saying Keep out if you need a bathroom Very friendly. NOT!
