Obama supporters shocked, angry at new tax increases
Sometimes, watching a Democrat learn something is wonderful, like seeing the family dog finally sit and stay at your command.
With President Obama back in office and his life-saving “fiscal cliff” bill jammed through Congress, the new year has brought a surprising turn of events for his sycophantic supporters.
“What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase in income taxes will hurt those making over 400 grand. What happened?”
Shocker. Democrats who supported the president’s re-election just had NO idea that his steadfast pledge to raise taxes meant that he was really going to raise taxes. They thought he planned to just hit those filthy “1 percenters,” you know, the ones who earned fortunes through their inventiveness and hard work. They thought the free ride would continue forever.

LOL
Night always follows Day and Taxes always follow Spending.
Wait until the Libtards get a sample of Obamacare.
Yah, but they’d still vote for him again….
I wish we had a balanced budget like that “Libtard” Clinton left us.
#1, when you use the word “Libtard” you are exposing yourself as the moron you are.
Rob….I will take the Clinton era tax rates, so long as you agree to the Clinton era spending.
As for Libtard…it stands for “liberal retard.”
A libtard wants to live in a fantasy world (in which life is the way that they WISH IT WAS) as opposed to dealing with life the way it actually is.
Got it. I was able to decipher that concatenation.
I would agree to Clinton era spending in a heartbeat. I am only Liberal when finance isn’t an issue.
There is a good book that will be back on the shelves at the library as soon as I return it: “This time is different”. I’m done with it but just haven’t had the chance. One of the themes I gathered between the lines is that the #1 cause of default, either through non-payment or currency debasement, is war. Have a look, the data is clear. Everything else is a red herring.
Iraq is finally winding down, but 2001-2010 is what broke this country, not Obamacare. We never should have bothered with Iraq. Afghanistan was bad enough, and I don’t think we’ve even improved anything there. Oh, but I am not allowed to blame Bush anymore, right?
At least the military industrial complex got their “entitlements”.
And yes, “Libtard”, “Conservitard” etc makes people look stupid.
I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.
— Winston Churchill
A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have.
— Thomas Jefferson
I’m pretty sure this is all George Bush’s fault.
