Authorities in New Jersey have arrested at least 41 people in a huge investigation into the sexual abuse of children, some as young as four. Police and prosecutors say they tracked down the suspects based on shocking and sickening images of child molestation and rape on the Internet. Some of the suspects allegedly used social-networking sites like Facebook and MySpace.

>IAM so happy. we need to get all of these dirt bags off the street.
>Hold the tar and feathers and the noose. Anyone who knows anything about these file sharing programs should be able to tell you that people who allow their computers to be shared on these sites like Limewire do not have to ask for specific files to be downloaded. Some one else in that program has already done it and packaged it in unknown file that will be activated when opened. Why people do this to themselves, I’ll never know. Do you remember the substitute teacher in Connecticut that they tried to put away for 40 years because the computer in her room started showing this vile crap without her trying to access it. This could be the case for some involved in this mess. Get the ones who started this intentionally please. They are the criminals. Parents make sure that your kids are not involved in any type of file sharing. This includes music sharing.
>I’d like to also add that when a Ridgewood kid is in trouble, maybe we could care about that kid? After all, he’s a community member.
I’m sure that family could use some sympathy rather than damning.
His name isn’t explicitly listed because he’s a minor. He’s a kid. He needs help.

These arrests don’t happen because of one file or a one time browse on a site, you have to be downloading an awful lot of porn for them to arrest you.
Any one who says they just looked or did it once and got arrested is simply lying.
>Ever heard of Duke University? Ever heard of political grandstanding? Ever see the movie, “The Fugitive”? Finally, what ever happened to “Innocent until PROVEN guilty”?
>Oh that’s right..I forgot, there are no criminals or bad people in Ridgewood. No crime, no drugs….We live in Disneyland where everything is just perfect!! Wake up you fools….this kid is a dirtbag and I bet there are plenty more in Ridgewood that just haven’t been caught yet. Stop defending them!!!!!
>Sorry 8:44 but if you know how an investigation of this type is conducted, you wouldn’t state what you said. They don’t just grab people with accidental stuff on their computer. It takes months of tracking and documenting usage and sharing before anyone is nabbed. Innocent until proven guilty is for the legal system. But when you see the robber exiting the window holding the tv set, he’s innocent until proven guilty too, even if the preponderence of the evidence is overwhelming. I think the prosecutor has these people dead to right, as they say. Ridgewood is not immune from pedaphiles, and neigher is Iran immune from homosexuality.
