Guest Lecturer, Rita Houlihan, is a passionate reclaimer of Mary Magdalene. In 2016 she penned the letter to the Vatican requesting that Mary Magdalene’s Memorial be elevated to a Feast. The result is Mary Magdalene’s Feast day is equal to those of the male Apostles.
Rita will give a scriptural and historical overview of Mary Magdalene, with emphasis on the depiction of her in art through the ages.
