Glen Rock NJ, a thief stole an Audi SUV from the driveway of a single-family home on Van Allen Road, Glen Rock at approximately 0730 hours on Tuesday, 02/08. The vehicle’s owner witnessed the theft in progress and attempted to jump into the Audi’s front passenger seat as it was being driven away. Moments later, the thief stopped short on Van Allen Road, exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The vehicle’s owner, an adult male, sustained minor injuries in the incident; Glen Rock Police are classifying the event as an “assault.” A tow truck removed the damaged Audi from the scene and transported it to a local dealership for repair. The incident was captured in full, or part, by several doorbell security cameras in the neighborhood. The suspect was last seen entering a vehicle that fled southbound on Ackerman Avenue, Glen Rock at a very high rate of speed.
This is a result of the liberals in this state that do NOT allow police to pursue a car thief.
It emboldens the criminals.
The Glen Rock Regime is in full agreement with these liberals.
Wow. Thugs walking around our streets seem to be a constant thing now.
In a democratic republic, people deserve the results of the policies of the people for whom they vote. I welcome affluent suburban virtue-signalers having their communities disrupted in the same way that the inner cities are made unlivable by the policies they support. THAT is true social justice. Sow the wind, and reap the whirlwind.
Thanks Uncle Joe
A description of the thief would be helpful to help the police apprehend.
