New Jersey Turnpike Authority Awards $1.7 Billion E-ZPass Contract to TransCore, Ends 20-Year Run with Conduent

East Rutherford NJ, the New Jersey Turnpike Authority has officially awarded a $1.7 billion contract to TransCore for the management of E-ZPass services, ending a two-decade-long partnership with Newark-based Conduent. A bid protest filed by Conduent was rejected by the Turnpike Authority’s hearing officer, allowing the state to move forward with its decision.

Village of Ridgewood Offices Closed on Good Friday , Garbage and Recycling Pickup Schedule Has Been Revised

Ridgewood NJ, in observance of Good Friday, all Village offices and departments (except emergency services) will be closed on April 18 and reopen on Monday, April 21 at 8:30 am. There will be no garbage or recycling pickup, and the Recycling Center will be closed. Please check the 2025 Village Calendar or the Recycle Coach app as pickup schedules will change the week of April 14.
