Paramus NJ, Paramus is known for shopping malls and has for years billed itself as a tree city but now exciting news for dog owners in Paramus as the Paramus Health Department seeks to expand the allowance of dogs per household.
Previously, the regulation stated that residents could keep and care for ‘no more than two dogs over the age of three months’.
However, on February 6, the Borough Council unanimously voted to increase the limit from two to three dogs per household.
While the Health Department also proposed restricting the number of cats permitted per residence, this suggestion has been postponed for the time being due to the absence of complaints or issues reported.
