Paramus NJ, safety activist Frank Geraghty pointed out another safety issue ,a dangerous accident prone EXIT ROAD TO NOWHERE.

Frank states, “The exit road on left side of enclosed photo shows traffic making right turn from Rt 17 in Paramus which leads to the village of Ridgewood. In center of picture the dangerous accident prone EXIT ROAD TO NOWHERE which serves no purpose should be closed soon or in the fall of this year before the massive new 40 acre Valley Hospital opens up nearby. Dare devil drivers permitted by the DOT do not mind risking their lives crossing opposite lanes from both directions on this very busy avenue to enter Zabriskie Place or make a left turn east bound into traffic moving in both directions on Ridgewood avenue. I have previously predicted a horrible motorist misjudgment at this location. Traffic changes usually take place but not always right away after my prediction of an accident is fulfilled.”

  1. Frank should take up Mah Jong or crossword puzzles or something.

    Is he friends with Rurik…?

  2. The town is ruined. All it is, is one big roadway, nothing but traffic, noise, pollution, people all over the place. It should be called the city of Paramus. Yes, maybe some of the side streets are nice that’s about it.

  3. Note that Frank does not include any statistics on accident rate, accident severity, vehicle damage or bodily injury.

Frank just “feels” that this road is dangerous based on NO STATED FACTS.

I suspect that the accident rate on this road is most likely BELOW the average but let’s not let facts get in the way of Frank’s superior intuition. He knows better than everyone else.

  4. Or, or just maybe, learn how to drive.

  5. You could be the best driver out there it’s Paramus. Route 17 and Route four are the busiest intersection on the east end of the United States and that’s a fact.

    1. I’m pretty sure this statement is actually the opposite of “fact.” I believe the actual category is “pulled directly out of your ass.”
