Ridgewood NJ, a two (2) vehicle rollover crash at the intersection of Dayton Street and South Maple Avenue, Ridgewood, resulted in both adult drivers being taken by ambulances to The Valley Hospital late Tuesday morning, 05/09. The driver of the rolled over Toyota RAV4 was entrapped in his vehicle and had to be extricated by Ridgewood firefighters. Ridgewood Police and Ridgewood Emergency Services personnel also responded to the incident.

So many close calls or fender benders there; should put signs “Right Turn Only”
Cars dash across to avoid light or try to make a left turn with no visibility.
Yes, that’s a been a bad intersection
I never rolled over there.
No one I know ever rolled over there.
We must be exceptional drivers.
Yeah, people cut through hope st, then to dayton to avoid the light at ridgewood and maple. Which is fine, except in the rush hours in the morning and afternoon- there’s no visibility if there’s a line of cars at the light.
Doesnt help that people absolutely floor it after passing the ridgewood/maple intersection when headed towards spring st.
So there’s a t-bone crash there every other month or so. That dentist office has ended up with a car on their lawn more times than I can count.
