Wayne NJ, the Passaic County Board of Elections is still seeking civic-minded individuals to serve as poll workers for the upcoming June 10, 2025 Election Day. This is a great opportunity to support our democracy, serve your community, and earn extra income.
To be eligible, you must be a registered voter in Passaic County.
Poll workers play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and secure election process. Duties include:
- Attending mandatory training
- Working from 5:00 AM to approximately 8:30 PM
- Setting up and closing the polling site
- Assisting voters as they navigate the voting process
- Looking up voter information using Electronic Poll Registration Tablets
- Issuing the correct ballot to each voter
- Directing voters to the correct voting machine
Poll workers will be paid $300 for the day.
“Election workers are the backbone of our democratic process,” said Pat Lepore, Director of the Passaic County Board of Elections. “We rely on dedicated individuals from our community to help ensure every voter has a smooth and secure experience at the polls. If you’re a registered voter in Passaic County, we encourage you to sign up and make a difference.”
