Fair Lawn NJ, Thursday evening Bergen County NJ Transit rail service is subject to up to 30-minute delays due to an earlier pedestrian fatality near Broadway-Fairlawn. NJ TRANSIT police responded to an incident involving the No. 66 train on the Port Jervis Line. The train struck an individual between the Broadway station and Morlot Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. The train had originated from Middletown, NY, at 3:20 p.m. and was en route to Hoboken, scheduled to arrive at 5:13 p.m. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries to the approximately 100 passengers and crew on board. In response to the incident, service was temporarily suspended in both directions between Ridgewood and Plauderville. NJ TRANSIT rail tickets and passes were being cross-honored by the agency’s buses and private carriers.

If you know anyone that is struggling, have them call the suicide prevention line 988.
Holidays and day light savings is a hard time for many, stress is on the rise
Be kind.
A pedestrian is someone who travels along a sidewalk/road/area developed and maintained for said purpose. If you get hit by a train you are not a pedestrian. You are either suicidal or drunk and/or stupid.
nice asshole comment buddy. the person was a KID. hope you have more compassion with your own offspring.
This young person was someone’s child
my cousin.
This person was someone’s child. Rather than make a nasty comment why not pray for that family?
