Police Raid 300 Guest 4th of July Party in Fair Lawn

Fair Lawn NJ, Police from 6 nearby towns responded to the Morlot Avenue home in Fair Lawn to brake up a 300-guest house party at a Morlot Avenue ,Thursday afternoon July 4th .Fair Lawn police officers went to the house at 1 p.m. after getting several complaints about noise and parking violations.  Police issued a warning about the noise to security personnel working the event due to loud music.

At about 4:30 p.m. police return to the home on a report of a disturbance. However, when police checked the backyard they found about 250 to 300 guests. That amount of people was determined to be hazardous.

State Police, Bergen County Sheriff’s officers, and police from Paramus, Fair Lawn, Elmwood Park, Glen Rock, Hawthorne, Saddle Brook, and Ridgewood went to the home to assist in helping shut the party down.

According to Police the homeowner contracted with a private promotional group to rent out the house. No one was arrested, but the homeowner was issued an excessive noise summons.
