Poll: Snowden a whistleblower, not a traitor

Regardless, he is a dumbass. He doesn’t know enough to be particularly valuable to anyone, which is why nobody but third world hamlets are offering exile, and that only to spite the US. The US doesn’t care that much, since he didn’t reveal much more than what was already public knowledge about the NSA. They just want to make an example of him regarding the importance of security clearance.
This guy drew attention to himself with the globehopping when attention should have been on our government’s domestic spying programs. Hong Kong? Really? did he think he could stay for more than a couple weeks with a country that is so entwined in the US that their currency is pegged to the Dollar and you don’t even need a visa to go there?
Whether his intentions were pure remains to be seen but his execution was terrible. His future looks bleak no matter where he goes.
