Prospect Street Home in Ridgewood Pronounced Safe After Car Crash

Ridgewood NJ,  On Wednesday afternoon, 08/09, Ridgewood Fire Department personnel were dispatched to a single family home located at 255 Prospect Street, Ridgewood for purposes of evaluating the structural integrity of the home following a motor vehicle crash in which a passenger car mounted a curb, drove across the front lawn and slammed into the front porch. The vehicle had been removed from the scene prior to arrival of Fire Department personnel. The structure was deemed safe for occupancy with no Fire Department action taken.

  2. The house jumped out of nowhere. The driver did not see it because his cell phone screen was in his view.
