Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood School Board President Michael Lembo issues the following statement as to public attendance at the Ridgewood Board of Education meetings :
“The Ridgewood Board of Education will meet tomorrow night, Monday April 26th, 2021, at the Education Center for a Regular Public Meeting at 7:00 p.m. The agenda is available on the district website along with the link for the live stream, Fios channel 33 or on our YouTube Channel. (The RPS website has been updated with a new “Live Stream” section on the top right!)
Public attendance at the Ridgewood Board of Education meeting has resumed as per the Governor’s Order. Please see the website for more information. Make sure you still follow all safety guidelines and come early for temperature checks and sign in.
As always, check out the procedures on our site as we appreciate everyone’s attendance and comments. Public comments can be made during the two public comment periods of the meeting. The public can view, listen and comment during the public comment period of the meeting via Zoom from a Windows, iOS, or Android Device.
If the comments go past 8pm, we will continue the meeting and resume with public comments in the second comment period of the meeting. There will be a SPECIAL public comment section for Budget specific comments after the first comment period and the budget presentation.
Please remember to follow all guidelines for public comments as written in the agenda. This includes sticking to issues and not personal remarks. Address the presiding officer and/or superintendent only. Mute your telecast when called upon, so there is no echo! (*6 on your phone unmutes you, *9 raises your hand). Be mindful to keep your comments to the allotted time of four minutes and please keep the budget specific comments to that specific portion of the evening.
Due to public attendance resuming, written comments are no longer accepted, however phone comments will remain for the time being.
