I’m a resident in the borough of Glenrock for 37 years. The past 30 years the village and Glenrock have had a shared services with grinding leaves in yard waste throughout the year, whatever happened to that. Nothing was brought to any council meetings in the borough of Glenrock that I know about, I’ve been attending council meetings for 20 years what the hell is going on in Ridgewood. I have asked this question to borrow members and they say we don’t know we’re in limbo. My god what is going on in Ridgewood kid you get your daily business in order. Shared services? You mean the fact that we allow our FD, EMS to respond to Glen Rock free of charge while we bill our own residents?
How about that you use our paid Fire Department to respond to calls without charge because your FD cant get a crew. Yet you don’t pay for any of that equipment or pay for the personnel. Meanwhile, I pray and hope I dont need my own FD for my assistance because they are busy helping you.
How about how you get our EMS crew when yours cant get out the door yet don’t get billed for service, but yet when I need the service there is a charge. Isn’t that some shit
Buy a radio scanner, you will be amazed how often Ridgewood “assists” Glen Rock with pretty much everything.
I think Ridgewood is losing end. It seems you get all the benefits of my tax dollars and dont have to contribute a dime. I want in on this scam.

It seems to be a big piece of equipment. I don’t know anything about it, it sure looks like it must be a lot of Maintenance behind it .Wow it looks like it could be on extreme machines.

I do not and will not feel sorry for Glen Rock. I drive from my home in Ridgewood and pass through Glen Rock on my way to work. On several occasions over the years I have seen Ridgewood fire trucks in Glen Rock. And in some cases not a Glen Rock fire truck in sight. This is not shared services. This is not mutual aid. This is Ridgewood providing a paid Fire Department to Glen Rock at zero cost to the glen rock residents.
And guess what…..Ridgewood set the agreement up without billing for it, so who’s fault is that?

Well that sounds like someone needed to work out some kind a difference. How the hell did this happen. Who made the decisions. I’m sure that isn’t a problem. Didn’t any protocol take place We think it was bad judgment. Extremely not professional. That individual should be reprimanded immediately.
