The garage has never been about parking in the CBD – it’s been about parking for apartment dwellers and their school age children. We’re talking about massive expenditures by the library and the BOE and haven’t even thought about the infrastructure investments that the apartments will make necessary. By then Mr Saraceno and his family will have moved to Florida.

I guess my little home in the lawns the taxes are going to go up. Just great. And yet the price at home will stay the same.
This garage is all because of the Chamber of Commerce and the Guild who members still park in front of their stores . Next they will want a tax break and the rest of us will pay for their share of the property taxes

The current Council may not be everything you want, but “firing” them for garage and housing is getting rid of the wrong crew… we already got rid of the Council responsible for this mess.
