Remember that the former Mayor and Mr. Saraceno conducted studies that showed that there would be LESS traffic and only 4 additional children in the schools as a result of this project. No really, they did – and expected us to believe it. The studies assumed that only empty nesters with no cars would be moving in to these apartments. They further assumed that apartment dwellers would simply walk to get everything they needed in Ridgewood and take the train everywhere else. What could possibly go wrong by trusting a real estate developer and a disgraced politician?
I see that in the spirit of honesty, the rendering makes it clear that nobody will ever be able to sleep for more than an hour at a time due to the adjacent train tracks. Also good to see all the dead bodies in the street. I wouldn’t cross that intersection on foot for anything. Now imagine people dashing across Franklin to get to their cars or the train as drivers head east or west under the overpass with its narrowed road. Anybody familiar with the expression “recipe for disaster”? Adding insult to very likely injury is the fact that that site should have been the parking garage for the train.
Clown picture has to go James

Step and run for Council 5:29.
I think whatever you opinion is, I am sad that you used a picture of Paul volunteering to be dunked at our first event honoring the memory of my son Michael, who died at age 10 from Ewing’s Sarcoma. Paul was extremely supportive of my family, and especially Michael, before and after his death. Perhaps you don’t agree with his politics. He and I had disagreed on some things as well. He still is a good person. And just as an aside, you lose all credibility when you are anonymous. If you want your opinion taken seriously, use your name.
