“Tell us something someone installed cameras at the construction sites like we really going to sit on our asses and watch these ugly oversized condos being built in our CBD please stop the Storytelling. It’s amazing who is paying to have these cameras installed and maintained, but yet there’s no surveillance at the bus station and train tunnel. And at these locations on a daily basis we have individuals selling drugs, urinating all over the place, and pooping on the walls the handrails totally disgusting. What a bunch of animals. Maybe we should go back how was 30 years ago lock the damn bus station at 12 o’clock midnight and lock the gates at the train station. Period.

  1. Isn’t that the responsibility of nj transit? The town can reach out to them but don’t think the council can arbitrarily authorize the set up of cameras.

  2. If buses do not run all night there is no reason to leave the shelter open 24/7.

  3. Glen Avenue is a mess once again. PSE&G is the culprit.

  4. Not the villages responsibility for a camera however where is the police presence

  5. Historical building – hahaha. Who suggested that???

  6. Really?
Where’s your stats coming from on the sale of illicit drugs at these locations?
It’s not from any statistical arrest records.
NJ Transit is responsible for the bus station not the town. send your liberal DB governor who you voted for a short note and ask him for help.
And the camera is at the PARKING GARAGE not where the housing is being built.
Get your story and facts straight b4 you start blathering nonsense here.
If you don’t like what’s happening here there’s always Boca.
Were moving forward and developing the CBD for the requirements of the future and that obviously does not include you. It takes a village and this ain’t a village anymore.

  7. Historical… Let’s paint it orange DMK

  8. None at bus station but they have state of the art cameras at Habernickel park. I guess the town is watching that owner of that business as closely as the neighbors are!

  9. We called in the the state police to keep an eye on this property, the police from n j transit authority Will be Conducting an investigation . Like we said before this transit hub is a real problem in town.
