if you dislike the anonymity, why do you post anonymously? If you hate THE BLOG, why do you read the blog? No one makes you look at the blog. Your pomposity narrows you down to a handful of open blog-haters who read and post regularly. What a two-face. Pitiful.
The funny thing is, those who read the blog actually know who the anonymous posters are. Certain peoples writing style is so freaking obvious, certain key words they use. Can you think RH-JV-PE-GH-PA-RS
Would it make anyone feel any better if I named myself John Smith instead of just posting as anonymous? Even the “legitimate” looking names you see here are most likely fakes.
We have seen over and over again that people in position of power here in Ridgewood abuse that power by granting favors to people they like and dispensing punishment to people they don’t. Personally, I’m not too thrilled about getting a slightly higher tax assessment, denied permits, lost paperwork, traffic tickets, uneven sidewalk citations, etc.
The ONLY thing “good” about “fake” names is that they are identifiers (to a degree since multiple people can use the same name under the current system)
IF the RW Blog required you to register with the blog in order to post (even if registering meant providing a name only) then there would be a unique identifier with a history such that you can see a continuity of the posters comments.
Of course someone could register multiple accounts (names) but even then you would be able to see a continuity and similarity (perhaps alliance) between one or more accounts.
Who cares in the end it’s still a blog and people reporting what they see how they see it what they feel, like it or not they’ll always be some kind of press. We are all not saying that all the press that you see and read is real 100%. Of course it’s not in the end you got a build up of readings for TV sell newspapers advertising any end it comes down to business to make money. So let’s put all the bullshit to the side because we have a Lotta bullshit coming from CNN, And other major news networks, just like a good majority of upper management in many many different government jobs and public employment. Thank you I retired reporter From a major network for 30 years. And let me tell you I seen in heard many stories that are for the horse manure.
Thanks sam
