Let’s look at what Jeff Voigt run his campaign on. He misled us with all his fancy signs & quotes. What a liar….. people voted for him & what he told us be wanted to do for the Village. Such a big disappointment for the residents & for the residents who thought he shared the same views.
There’s a level of expected differences between what any politician campaigns on and what a politician actually does upon winning. These differences are reasonably subtle, and we get it. Voigt is not even close to this. He flat-out did a complete 180. He lied. In the reatil world, it’s called a bait and switch, and it’s illegal.
He either flipped or he was a plant. Regardless, he is not getting second term.

Voigt will have two acolytes running against the mayor and deputy mayor in the upcoming municipal election. If elected to office they will promptly vote, with Voigt, to make him Mayor. That’s the plan, that’s the goal. Nothing personal. Purely political.
