Voigt attempted to mislead and misrepresent what happened in court to trick us residents . He went to Facebook and posted that he was found innocent. Wrong. Voigt was not found innocent the case was dismissed, according to the article, because of lack of evidence. Lack of evidence doesn’t equate to not guilty and it doesn’t mean innocent . Voight did what he did and he’s responsible. Instead of apologizing went straight to Facebook to continue bullying and intimidating the same residents. Then voigt added more resident names to his hate list.
Voights bullying and intimidation is intended to stop residents from participating in government. Anyone is at risk for the same retaliation by Voight for disagreeing with him.. It would be terrible for all of us to lose residents who are engaged because of voights bullying.
Voigt has embarrassed himself and embarrassed the Village. In trying to misrepresent a dismissal he’s proven he can’t be trusted.
Remember the prosecutor’s assessment of Mr Voigt’s behavior: Stupid, wrong, inconsiderate. That pretty much sums it up

The man is the political equivalent of a Trojan horse. He completely misrepresented his positions during his campaign.

We once again have an elected official who is trying to intimidate citizens to keep them from having an opinion or participating in local government. So glad that some citizens stood up to what he did. Which, as the article says, was stupid, wrong, and inconsiderate.
Say what Hulk? Let what go? The guy is an embarassment to Ridgewood, not just for this fiasco but ever since he was sworn in. This is not Ridgewood snobbery. This is Ridgewood intelligent people standing up to wrong.

Boyd Loving has been going to meetings forever it seems, and he is totally “nonpartisan.” I see when he catches things that people on the Council miss. he is always respectful and almost always the councilpeople are grateful and respect his diligence. He has no ax to grind, he just cares about Ridgewood. The corruption or nastiness of the occasional elected official has never stopped him from doing the right thing. When I see him come onto the TV screen I listen carefully. Thank you Boyd.
Case was dismissed……….and should never have been brought.
In America you are not found to be innocent, you maintain your innocence until you are found guilty.

I totally agree @7:35. When Boyd talks I listen. I have read his letters to the editor in the Ridgewood news for many many years and he was always informative and correct. I now have the pleasure of actually knowing Boyd and his wife and find them extremely helpful and kind. Jeff on the other hand has lied to my face along with my friends and neighbors. Two very different types of men here!!
Like the Prosecutor said, what JEFF VOIGHT did was STUPID, WRONG and INCONSIDERATE! What the hell is he, and his supporters, defending/celebrating? That stupidity and inconsideration isn’t a punishable crime? He’s a disgrace. His level of stupidity, malice and hotheadedness prohibit him to do what he was elected to do. Even worse, his colossal ego won’t allow him to resign. We are all stuck watching him attack everyone that has a brain and questions what he does. He will go down as the worst Councilman of all time.
