The CBD is small with narrow roads. Put added parking in my living room.
Some people will just have to move out of Ridgewood if they are unhappy, that is only solution. Tax base may be smaller; but will be doable. Too much unnecessary stuff anyway.
If only seniors lived here that would be best. Walkable streets , supermarkets close by. Ridgewood could be a wonderful town for majority of residents being seniors. A big school budget wouldn’t be necessary then. Taxes wouldn’t be so high; parking wouldn’t be a problem.
How about that for the future, thinking futuristic.
Sorry Seniors are not likely to buy a small condo aside a Ridgewood NJ train station or on chestnut trackside units so they can get blown out of bed in the middle of the night by a freight train Air Horn on a freight locomotive and commuter train from 530 am onwards and while sleeping in during a peaceful morning.
Location is a joke. “By the tracks” has historically described very-low-rent crummy living quarters for those who couldn’t afford to live elsewhere.
