So very true. My son works at a store in the c b d , and he would love to work more hours. but the owner of the store doesn’t like to pay so they close up at all different hours.

These CBD business are operating on razor-thin profit margins and many are operating at a loss. If the owner doesn’t want to join the many stores that have closed in the last few years, then I hardly think the owner wants to spend more on utilities and wages.
I suspect that you have never operated a business of your own.
