Major and secondary Road surfaces are a shambles even before the recent PSEG new tunneling projects on RIdgewood avenue and aside the Train station.No plan to fix our roads outside of the inadequate pothole patch and scratch crews.N.PLEASANT and Fairway are a disgrace,RIDGEWOOD Avenue won’t make it through the fall despite PSEG repave process
which we know doesn’t return the street to a normal operating surface.People are moving out.
No fooling…Paramus is redoing Farview this week, a much busier road than North Pleasant, Brookside and Fairfield….
How about repaving cottage Street parking lot, and then repaving Hudson Street lots. They are gone. They need to be reconstructed. Not keep on sending a patch crew to fill potholes , Because that’s not going to cut it I parking in a lot every day and has not been repaved and 20 years. thank you business owner on Broad Street
Is there a way to find out how much money was invested in last 10 years on paving and which roads were paved when, so we can see the quality of work done vs the money spent?
Workmanship on repaving, curb and driveway aprons totally substandard. Then PSEG rips it up and repaves 1/2 the street. These contractors should be held to the standards contractors working on my home are held to. There no!

NEW VC we voted for and expect more from you than to carry water for the developers and politically connected restaurant and multi family profiteers.those developments near the trains will go down hill fast when owners rent them to School aged families with opportunities to soak us dry.

The engineering department is moving slow with regarding repaving of the worst roads in the village, they should be paving the worst roads in the village first. It is mid July what is going on. The paving contractor should be paving every single day during the summer , How come they can’t figure this out, what are you gonna start doing paving in September when school opens. I just don’t get it
It’s a lost cause. This VC is a bunch of lazy bums but any other VC would be the same. In this day and age there is no moral anymore. People shoot for high positions just for the status. I don’t expect much and I don’t participate in village politics anymore. Nobody can stop the spiral.
I will just add that it is disgusting for this VC to not move a finger when it comes to our streets. It is the most visible and the most impacting issue for everyone. You can’t behave like you don’t see it. Shame on them.
