Reader Says The people of Ridgewood are sick of Aronsohn, Pucciarelli, and Hauck.

If a councilman was a vendor to the village there was a problem or dissatisfaction with the product it would be very intimidating for the employee to complain about it when the vendor votes on your promotions and pay raises, this occurs whether or not the councilman votes on the contract award. This is where the real conflict of interest arises , that’s why council people should not be vendors

The main issue here is that this has been a PUBLIC inquisition in which all the documents were not available up front and the clear purpose was to malign Mr. Riche rather than to solve the problem. Our Mayor, Deputy Mayor, and Councilwoman Hauck have shown themselves to be nasty and bullying and therin lies the huge problem with our Council. The innuendos and outright accusations coming from the three of them are beyond inappropriate. They have absolutely no business running our town and representing our interests. I think they are trying to intimidate Mr. Riche into resigning his position so they can have even more control, especially with the Valley issue coming up.

The large array of citizens who spoke against their horrible behavior on Wednesday night was really impressive. It was not one or two naysayers, but a long line of people. Some spoke more eloquently than others, but all of them used very harsh adjectives like despicable, disgusting, shameful, and more. Contrary to any reports, there were only two who spoke against Mr. Riche, the rest were bashing the Council for their mismanagement of this situation. Hauck even suggested that people in the audience were being hurtful to her with their statements, seriously, this is not about hurt feelings but about publicly maligning a man when it should have been handled in private. Between Hauck’s fragile composure on the verge of tears and Pucciarelli’s big fat ego trying to save face and Aronsohn’s bulldog tactics to press forward at all costs, it amounted to a colossal mess.

  1. Well said; thank you.

  2. “The people of Ridgewood are sick of Aronsohn, Pucciarelli, and Hauck.”

…but we’ll keep voting them into office since the collective IQ of Ridgewood voters continues to drop.

  3. that’s because they are all full of poop.

  4. Agree!

  5. The real problem is beyond ignorance of the issues; it’s that most people don’t vote at all. Take your neighbor to lunch and the voting place!

Didn’t that retired cop who was one of the two accusers (drawing “Boo”s from the audience) serve as best man at Pucciarelli’s long-long-ago wedding to wife #2, now deceased? If your very old friend is going to publicly accuse your fellow council member of misdeeds with you sitting there, wouldn’t you be likely to have been told or asked about it–or to have requested it?

For shame. PA/AP/GH are acting like (mean) ten-year-olds.

Too bad we can’t do a vote of no confidence like the British Parliament. Oh yeah, we’re just the herd.

  6. RECALL VOTE

  7. how good can they be they will not meet with the village workers, why ,well the talk in village hall is that the top managers don’t like it when a worker knows some info that they don’t. the mayor and council are out of the loop. in the end they will see.

  8. #5 – you have to be a member of parliament to be involved in a vote of no confidence and it has to be a majority vote – the public don’t get to participate in that process.

  9. They act like a pack of middle school bullies. Isn’t this what we are trying to tech our kids not to do?

They try to do things as a trio so that they can have their way, but look at what they are trying to do. Develop the town and insult their peers. What an agenda!

  10. Although he probably does not see it, this is probably the high point of Aronshon’s political career. What a loser.

  11. #10 – This is true, but it really is a shame. Being the Mayor of Ridgewood is something that anyone should be proud of. It might not be as lofty a position as Aronsohn wants, but to serve the people of this community is an honor.

Unfortunately Mr. Aronsohn has – in less than one year – made a spectacle of himself, of the entire council, and of our village. He and his two side kicks should be ashamed of themselves. And they shoudl get out, because clearly their colors are never going to change.

  12. WHY is the video of the meeting not available on the website??? As usual. This is an electronic transfer, shoudl be automatic. When the meeting is not contentious, it goes up instantly. When Aronsohn and Pucciarelli and Hauck behave badly, it is much delayed in getting posted. Of course. They want it to age so fewer people will look at it and see the TRANSPARENT truth.

  13. To the extent Aronsohn, Pucciarelli and Hauck verbally gang up and beat up on non-liberal, non-progressive officeholders in public forums, they gratify the seemingly insatiable desire politically deranged individuals have for humiliating ordinary, patriotic Americans. Sad to say, this translates into votes on election day, just as it did for Obama.
