Yes, Ridgewood Water was mismanaged for many years. After the new director took over, the problems are being addressed. Thanks to the current council, the village is currently undergoing a $42 million capital investment to address the various infrastructure issues. Selling to a private supplier isn’t a good idea. The wáter will still come from the same source, might actually taste worse, and it will be much more expensive. Have you tasted the wáter supplied by Suez?? Eeewwww
Please! Stop holding on to the past. No one drinks the water anyway.
When are the rate increases coming ?
They are spending $42 million on Ridgewood water? Where is that number coming from? What’s being fixed? Where’s the money coming from? The only recent number is Sedon’s $5.7 million estimate for upgrades which includes uninterruptible power so we don’t lose pressure during an outage.
Ridgewood water is hard as a rock and full of electrolytes. I wouldn’t be so quick to compare water quality between the systems
WTF are you talking about… “no one drinks the water anyway”
Are there that many danties living in the village now?
this sounds like real bull shit , more scams coming down the road.
sell it. what is the water company worth. And who own’s it in the end. can some on tell me why is all the water trucks and car’s have m g plates on it. is it a off site run company or a village owned water . we don’t get it.
Ridgewood Water is a black hole cesspool of greed and corruption as are most of the states water utilities. Anyone who wants to keep it is probably on the take. It should be sold to a professional water company, not managed as a Village affiliated entity. Just leads to liability and conflicts of interest.
