They know who it is. The same people who get charged with public intoxication and trespassing all the time. They rack up a bunch of tickets, get arrested, go to jail, rinse and repeat. The best thing the town could have done was knock that building down and take the generous offer of NJ transit to put up the partially enclosed bus shelters, but some idiots decided that no, it’s “historic”. Every damn building in Ridgewood isn’t historic, its a bus stop, get over yourselves. I feel that any person who claims its a historic site should have to spend 20-30 minutes in that unbearable building first before stating their case. The Village has become against progress and its driving people out of here.
Some people need to get their information in order there is no bathroom at that site. There never was. All the wood is rotten and it smells. N j t never cleans the windows. And it’s dark in side at night. That’s why no one will go in there at night.
Are we talking about the bus terminal at Van Neste Square? If so, there are some rough characters hanging around there. The other day, I saw some dude with the “collapsed in face” (which is indicative of meth use). Other guy was leaning over a cart that contained all of his belongings (clearly homeless).
They need to clean up that area and send these people over to Paterson or some other sh$t hole town.

crime ridden location or homeless public restroom users
Well At least it will keep the police busy. But they need to get some training from Paterson, Hackensack, Newark, get some real experience in training. Not going up to Mahwah headquarters to get training absolutely not inner-city training.
Tell us something someone installed cameras at the construction sites like we really going to sit on our asses and watch these ugly oversized condos being built in our CBD please stop the Storytelling. It’s amazing who is paying to have these cameras installed and maintained, but yet there’s no surveillance at the bus station and train tunnel. And at these locations on a daily basis we have individuals selling drugs, urinating all over the place, and pooping on the walls the handrails totally disgusting. What a bunch of animals. Maybe we should go back how was 30 years ago lock the damn bus station at 12 o’clock midnight and lock the gates at the train station. Period.
Can’t the village at least replace the rotted wood at the bus station. And maybe have it professionally painted. Inside should be painted a bright white so when commuters are inside at least it’s clean and safe looking not dark dirty and Dungeon looking.
