“There are people in ridgewood who have too much time on their hands and spy and stalk others. Or spend countless hours reading every proposal from the schools, village, library, garage, hospital and debating their intention, values and cost and spreading negativity on social media. If they don’t trust any leadership then perhaps they should…”
FYI :A recent survey conducted for the Garden State Initiative and Fairleigh Dickinson University found:
44% of New Jersey residents are planning to leave the state in the not-so-distant future
One in four residents, or 28 percent, plan to depart the Garden State within five years
As to why they plan to leave, many cited high property taxes and overall cost of living as the main reasons.

The message here seems to be: “Just pay your high property taxes and shut the fuck up.”
I don’t get it..what does the pic represen..?
SoOO0ooo… questioning the integrity of long-time HIGHLY (wanna say”over”, but, that’d offend some overpaid civil service snowflake )paid board members, government representatives, and wanting some accountability as to WHERE THE HELL IS ALL THE MONEY GOING? is being a gadfly, Court Buffalo of sorts? Lol.
Me thinketh thy government, career workers, who ARE the employees of We the People, doeth protest too much.
we need people watching our public officials. just look at the crazy board of Ed bond proposals..
Haha, that pic is Damiano’s car on another day.
Thankfully there are some civic minded residents that hold elected and appointed officials accountable. Valley thought they’d cut a back room deal with then Mayor Pfund to double the size of the building. Residents got wind of it and ultimately won. On the other side, the apartment developers made friends with the Aronsohn regime and got their way. Residents should have acted more quickly and decisively. Now the BOE and the Library cabals (many of the same people behind Valley and the apartments) are coming at us again. Thanks to the residents who take it upon themselves to expose these pet projects and call bullshit.
The earlier first commenter tees off with own followed by excellent comments from the burdened Taxpayers of Casino Royale Ridgewood where every POL

Residents tax bill increases
I hope this new parking garage doesn’t take us all down. This is not funny. This can go a few different ways. One the cost to park your car will be expensive. To the taxpayers are going to have to pay for this. Or three we will have major layoffs throughout the village. And the services will definitely go to shit. Remember people from the last layoff ,The village never ever recouped all those workers that’s why the village looks the way it does.
