Ridgewood NJ, for decades, Bergen County’s towns have attracted homeowners with their excellent schools, vibrant downtowns, safety, and prime locations. Now, one town is receiving national recognition from Realtor.com as one of the “Hottest ZIP Codes” in the country, where buyer demand is concentrated.
Realtor.com identified fifteen New Jersey towns among the top 150 hottest markets across the nation. “The hottest areas are those with high demand from buyers,” the housing site explained. This means many unique viewers per property listed for sale and fast-selling homes, indicating a limited supply.
Ridgewood, with ZIP code 07450, was listed at number 8 statewide and within the top 100 nationwide. In May 2024, Ridgewood ranked 91st in the U.S., with a median listing price of $1,183,462.50, though it had ranked 16th in April 2024.
