Red Mango Is Closing in Ridgewood

Dear Ridgewood,

We’re sad to tell you that we will be closing our Red Mango on E. Ridgewood Avenue today, Sunday Dec 15 and going out of business. We tried to make a go of it, but we just did not have the sales to support our fixed costs and debt structure. If there is anyone in the Village who might be interested in purchasing either the equipment or take over the store please send me a message via FB. We would be willing to sell the store and lease for a fraction of our cost. Many thanks for your patronage this past year. It has been a privilege to serve you. Here’s wishing you a very joyous holiday season and best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous year ahead in 2014. Warmest regards, The Blooms

  1. I like the Red Mango in Montclair. It’s a good product. Good luck on your next venture.

  2. WTF? This was one of the only “froyo” places in town that was busy!!! My kid loved this place. I guess you can’t pay Ridgewood rent selling yogurt for $5 a pop. Hope the landlord is happy.

And what does this say about the other froyo places in town?

  3. Good News – the store has been re-opend by my husband and I. we have expanded the menu and now have, in addition to frozen yogurt, hot pressed flatbread sandwiches, wraps and salads. We also do Juicing and have an extensive juicing menu and we have some of the yummiest Smoothies around! Come on by and see us – 43 East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ
