Rep Garrett Demands More Government Openness
November 20th 2013

Dear Friend,

For the second time, I took to the House Floor this morning to draw attention to Secretary Jack Lew’s stonewalling.  More than five months ago, I sent a letter to Sectary Lew asking three very simple questions:  when did you find out about the IRS’ targeting of the American people; did you participate in any of the dozens of meetings then-IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman had at the White House; and, did you have any knowledge of rumors relating to the targeting of Americans?

Unfortunately, rather than simply answering my questions and putting to bed the appearance of impropriety, Secretary Lew continues to ignore my questions.

Today, I ask you to join me in demanding the openness that President Obama once promised us.

Sincerely,

Scott Garrett

  1. “any knowledge of rumors”?? What kind of a stupid questions is that?

  2. I’m glad Scott Garrett asks important questions. The Dumbocrats are liars. and with the ‘imposter in Chief’ leading with more lies every day. Hows that ‘hope and change’ working out for you?

  3. didn’t miley cyrus write a song about the dems love affair with obama?

We clawed, we chained our hearts in vain
    We jumped never asking why
We kissed, I fell under your spell.
A love no one could deny

Don’t you ever say I just walked away
    I will always want you
I can’t live a lie, running for my life
    I will always want you

I came in like a wrecking ball
I never hit so hard in love
All I wanted was to break your walls
All you ever did was wreck me
    Yeah, you, you wreck me

I put you high up in the sky
And now, you’re not coming down
It slowly turned, you let me burn
And now, we’re ashes on the ground

Don’t you ever say I just walked away
    I will always want you
I can’t live a lie, running for my life
    I will always want you

I came in like a wrecking ball
I never hit so hard in love
All I wanted was to break your walls
All you ever did was wreck me

I came in like a wrecking ball
Yeah, I just closed my eyes and swung
Left me crashing in a blazing fall
All you ever did was wreck me
    Yeah, you, you wreck me

I never meant to start a war
I just wanted you to let me in
    And instead of using force
    I guess I should’ve let you win
I never meant to start a war
I just wanted you to let me in
    I guess I should’ve let you win
