  1. This is all so confusing. Let’s all just stay at home.

  2. The Council knows what their talking about and their the only ones. Where is the leadership ?

  3. W.C. Fields

“If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.”

  4. Believe me, I am definitely no fan of the Village Government, but this is a good move. Far too many spaces are taken up with these kinds of all-day parkers who have the ability to keep feeding the meter.

  5. Once the persistent parkers are gone, you will see there is no need for a garage.

  6. The time limit is still 2 hours. The 3 hour ordinance has not yet taken effect.

  7. Are we planning to chalk tires, or have we finally moved out of the Stone Age?

Remember those ‘security cameras’ that were around a few years ago?

  9. To much CSI. You can’t see anything with those cameras.

  10. Hey Ridgewood, the American History Museum called. They heard you still used old-fashioned coin meters and they want to see if you have any spare units that they can put in the museum as an exhibit.

Not sure what cams Ridgewood was using, but in another state where I have friends in Law enforcement, their cams in town can zoom in and they are so clear they can count the # of pimples someone has.

  12. And how much did they cost?

  13. 1 Cost of high resolution cameras to cover all streets involver. At 10 to 15 because where the lic plate is located and the angle of the camera. Cost of installation( Poles and transmitting equipment ) Maintenance. Recording devices to retain evidence if someone pleads no guilty . Personal to review the pictures and wright the violation. Life of the equipment .

2 One piece of chalk and one parking enforcement officer.

3 No one is watching you scratch.

  14. They could do a video on the iphone as they walk, then retrace their steps.
    Cheap, and problem solved.

  15. That may work #14. Im just old school.
