Ridgewood NJ, it’s official! We’re one week away from Ridgewood High School’s Homecoming Weekend, a three day event and Super Reunion, October 8th-10th. Here’s an overview of the weekend you don’t want to miss:
Friday kicks off with a Friday Night Lights rivalry game with our neighbors from Paramus. Then join the pub crawl (21+) immediately following the game… Saturday is the main event with a party on the front lawn of RHS. Group Therapy provides the sound track while Chestnut Deli provides the complimentary spread as student ambassadors provide tours of RHS. Immediately following, the party moves to the main field where TV personality, Willie Geist, hosts a special Chalk Talk retrospective with Coaches Chuck Johnson and Drew Gibbs, looking back at Ridgewood’s first-ever state championship in football… We finish strong Sunday morning with one of Ridgewood’s all-time great educators and motivators, Jim Stroker, as he leads a morning yoga session which concludes a busy weekend of activities.
And let’s not forget while Homecoming is open to all RHS alumni, one of the highlights of the weekend for those celebrating a five or ten year milestone is the class reunion. This year we’re hosting a Super Reunion due to last year’s postponement, celebrating classes ending in 0, 1, 5 and 6. Thus far, several classes have class-specific events Saturday night. Hundreds of alumni are gathering, particularly from the class of 1981, 1990, 1991, and 2000. Well done alumni!

Willie Geist going to talk about the Russia hoax he pushed for 4 years?
Russia ,Russia, Russia …LOL
That pic is from 2011.
The field flooded so they graduated on the hill.
Wish there were a dance and events planned for current students.
Willie Geist and Yoga… and people wonder why RW is no longer a leader .
