Ridgewood NJ, This past weekend, the parent-led and performed Jamboree 2020 production “It’s About Time” raised $200,000 for the RHS Jamboree Scholarship Fund, shattering prior fundraising records! Simply amazing!
With over 200 parents involved in the production including our very own Ridgewood resident Broadway and music recording stars Christy & Mark McVey, Sally Ann Skoric, and Eugene Thomas, Jamboree 2020 was thrilled to end an incredible run with the support of the community at large.
Save the date for the 75th Anniversary of RHS Jamboree to be performed on February 4, 5, and 6, 2021.
And people are worried about the BOE referendum, the staircase, the garage…. So much disposable income in this town
This is an amazing organization and a unique asset to the village. But, truth be told, the big money-maker for Jamboree, as well as Dad’s Night, and the like, is the ad sales for the printed program. At least 70% of the revenue is from ad sales. And from whom? Yup, those same Ridgewood businesses who are vilified on a daily basis by the Ridgewood’s troglodyte class. Next time you read a snide slap at our business neighbors by someone named Loving or Lee or Dani et al. , remember they contributed nothing to the success of Jamboree. They’re hypocrites in the worst sense and do nothing to improve our community. Only tear it apart.
Anonypotamus – What’s your real name? What’s my real name?
Steve – you are too funny. That was a great clap back. Keep doing what you are doing. Most of us really appreciate all of your hard work. And isn’t it funny that they can call you out for not having kids in RPS and at the same time blame you for not participating in Jamboree which is only for RHS parents. Jamboree is a damn cult.
Jamboree and Dads Night would never condone Anonypotomous comments. Anonypotomous I guess didn’t support Jamboree but Mr. Dani did. He attended the show (paid for tickets) and presumably paid for a portion of the NYU alumni ad he’s featured in with his beautiful wife. Journal page 82. Dont see the Anonypotomous ad.
Many of the Journal ads, jamboree and DN sponsors have no affiliation to Ridgewood. Doesn’t much matter.
Why Anonypotomous, why so mean and divisive?
Anonypotomous has an agenda of hatred. And apparently racism too. Sad. Steve Kim’s children do not go to Ridgewood High School. Boyd Loving was a regular up there on the stage at Dads Night. With my father and some of the other dads back in the 1980’s. His daughter and I and some of the other kids all went to watch our dads. And Saurabh Dani was front and center at Jamboree this year. Jamboree and Dads Night are wonderful organizations and everyone agrees with that and everyone supports them in one way or another, at one time or another.
Liked 2019 Jamboree much better …more like a story or play
2022 choppy…imho
