Ridgewood NJ, the Ridgewood Baseball and Softball Association (RBSA) officially kicked off the 2025 season with its highly anticipated Opening Day Parade and Family Fun Day at Veterans Memorial Field on Saturday, April 26.

Despite some cloudy skies and light sprinkles, the annual parade and opening ceremonies brought out hundreds of young athletes, families, and supporters from across the village, celebrating the start of another exciting baseball and softball season in Ridgewood.

Marching into a New Season
The festivities were energized by a lively performance from the Ridgewood High School Marching Band drumline, which kept the young players motivated and marching proudly throughout the morning’s parade.
The RBSA continues to be a pillar in the community, offering outstanding programs and creating opportunities for youth athletes to grow both on and off the field. With dozens of teams ready to take the field, excitement is high for a season full of baseball, softball, and kickball action.
