Further Humiliation for the Village

This is it — tonight — the big annual Posche-related brawl on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” And a few locals with connections to the incident are not exactly looking forward to the replay.

“The embarrassment alone and the level of distraught — I don’t even want to talk about it, ’cause I consider it appalling. I consider it embarrassing. And they are completely fabricating everything that they’re selling,” John Karagiorgis of Paramus said on Wednesday, when asked for a comment about the brawl’s airing.

Tonight’s episode — as well as next Sunday’s fifth-season finale — will feature the infamous March 30 incident at a hair salon in Ridgewood that reportedly pitted cast-mates Joe Gorga of Montville and Chris and Jacqueline Laurita of Franklin Lakes against Karagiorgis, whom the Lauritas accused of spreading rumors that their young son, Nicholas, doesn’t really have autism. The row resulted in cross-complaints of assaults and threats.

“They’re saying that I spoke negatively about a child, a sick child, which I, not now, then or ever, will speak negatively about a child, especially a sick one,” Karagiorgis said Wednesday. “I will protect your child, just like I protect my own. And these people are disgusting.”

  1. We can all thank Moxie Salon for bringing this unwanted notoriety to our Village.

  2. Why does the blog even post this garbage?

    1. Because the RHONJ are a symptom of Ridgewood’s decline

  3. Good point…
