A site-plan application from World Mission Society Church of God will be dismissed by the Planning Board if the Godwin Avenue congregation misses a March 3 meeting.
The group, a South Korea-based religious organization that previously attracted neighborhood opposition when it was pursuing a now-defunct expansion proposal, is before the board now because it performed minor work on its property about three years ago without getting the required permits, village officials said.
The church is now also seeking permission for new work, none of which includes structural changes to the property, a lawyer representing the church said this week.
But the group has delayed its review before the Planning Board several times – most recently delaying a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 20 – leading village officials to state they will dismiss the application if the applicants do not come prepared for the meeting on March 3.
In that case, the group would then have to attend to court penalties for failure to get approval for the work that has already been done, according to Village Planner Blais Brancheau.

This organization is not a church in the traditional sense, but a highly organized racket that operates as a cult. The “church” designation gives it the tax status that enables it to avoid taxation, and under its umbrella, operate other businesses, including restaurants. Do your own Google research. You will be amazed.
No different than any other church all religions are a cult.
are you kidding , that place is like “the following”
So Declan what makes up traditional church in your mind? What is the criteria ?

Hey, I have no time for religion. I think it’s all a crock of do-do. However, there’s a big difference between traditional religious groups and the insidious crap that goes on at this place. Like I aid. Get Googling.
Declan it funny how people say that until they are on their death bed. Then they all of sudden fine time for religion. Traditional religious groups who put cell antenna on the cross out side their church.
“Our tentative conclusion is that even nonreligious people are tempted toward religious belief, if only implicitly, in the face of death,” writes Oxford University psychologist Jonathan Jong. ” Theres hope for you Declan
I am an atheist and am quite comfortable letting my friends know. I stopped believing around the same time I realized that Santa didn’t exist. I am quite comfortable in the knowledge that the end means the end, and have no problem about the thought of eventual death. Religion is all mixed up with human ego. We are the only living species that knows from an early age that we will die one day. That, combined with the ability to communicate with each other, created religion. Fear of death and the utter refusal to accept that we, as individuals, really aren’t all that special.
I will pray for you Declan. You never know.
