the staff of the Ridgewood bog
Ridgewood NJ, despite over cast weather the Ridgewood Fireworks went off without a hitch. Patrons enjoyed a great evening filled with music and fun. The Entertainment consisted of Illumination Twirlers, Patriot Brass Ensemble and Eugene Thomas & No Big Deal. The National Anthem by Sherma Andrews was followed by a firework extravaganza.Traffic was a bit of a problem getting out after the show when several choke points closed up.

Overcast skies? It poured!
well yuup
The skies were overcast on my clothes! The outgoing traffic was insane! Took half an hour to get home.
“By the staff of the Ridgewood bog”? It must have rained more on you than on me!
It was total gridlock! Worse than in years past, it seemed. Probably because it was Monday night, lots of people were back from the shore (myself included), so there was a full crowd.
Traffic at the high school was bad. One agressive driver tried to move through a pedestrian swarm. A pedestrian had an argument with the driver. Glad it was just an argument.
Needed more police.
3:14pm – there was A LOT of police at the event location. High School is not the event location.
I have a beef with the music….
Eugene Thomas needs an hour for the show not 1/2 hour!
He’s awesome and I look forward to seeing him every year!
Rock on Eugene!!!
