John Luckenbill -the Director of the RHSMB- is a great example of quality teachers/leaders in the district. He is really dedicated to those kids – he must work about a thousand hours a week…
Some very nice individual and small ensemble musicianship, as well as an extended exhibition of the woodwinds, are key facets of this year’s show and are justifiably attributable to the adult artistic brain trust that devises and plans out all of the broad, most of the medium, and a great many of the fine strokes of show well in advance of band camp every August. That the kids continue to buy into the program every year is a tribute to the director and his staff. But the kids pull off the performance, better and better every week, and they have every reason to be proud of yesterday’s performance in Pecquannock last night.
